Day ... Oh God, I have no idea!

I wish to continue with the numbers, but until I figure it out....

I just wanted to mention that I have started Minutes in Motion, through Gundersen Luthern. I hope I spelt that right. Basically it's a program that asks you to get at least 30 mintues of exercise a day. It started yesterday. And yesterday I put in 60 minutes of exercise. So... so far so good.

I've gotta go figure out what day it is. I'll be back tomorrow to report.

Days 17 - 28

umm..........

yeah.........

So last week I forgot to do a weigh-in and so I somehow managed to forgot to update at all FOR TWO WEEKS!!!

Eep!

So I'm back and as of my weigh-in five seconds ago, I am at 298.5. So I'm up a bit, and still until the evil 300. I did kinda splerge on pizza last night. And chicken the night before.

I was so sick after chicken. I love the chicken at Waumandee and I hadn't eaten anything all day, but I didn't need THAT much. I still can't believe that I eat that much. I thought I was gonna puke. I never want to do that again. I don't care what they say, if it says all-you-can-eat, DON'T!! It's just awful.

Anyways, I have quite the open day today. I don't have to work until 6pm. And my weekend is even better as I only work at the Lob and then I'm going to Ladysmith. YAY!! Family and ... more family. I don't have a lot of friends that still live in Ladysmith. Then again I don't have a lot of friends, but the ones I do have are awesome.

It's my grandma's 80th birthday on Monday, so we are having an open house on Sunday to celebrate. I kinda want to bake a cake just to put 80 candles on it. [evil laugh]

(time laspe: on phone call to Mom) So it turns out that someone else is making the cake. Which is bullpucky because I ALWAYS ALWAYS make the dessert dish, cake or pie. Instead I'm making the green bean casserole. We have never had GBC at family gatherings. It's always the following. I make dessert. Mom brings the main meat dish and the stuffing. Grandma (or Peggy) brings the potatoes. Vicki brings the corn casserole. (Hmmmm..... corn casserole.) And Amy brings the punch. So I'm confuzzled.

But it's not me party, so eh...

But to the post. This weekend is gonna be exciting as I will get dogpiled by three kids who think I'm a trampoline. YAY! KIDS!

I'm getting a bit distracted writing this, so I will update later tonight on my progress for the day.

Day 16

Take 2...

My computer just decided to be stupid. Grr!

As soon as I published the blog yesterday, I brought out the bike, so I did get my 30 minutes in.

Today, not yet, but I will.

I don't really have anything to say. I'm kinda watching the Globes, so I'm a bit distracted.

I'll chat more laters.

Day 15

As I said in the last post, my weekly weigh-in was 295.0. I'm liking the numbers going down as they are. The official doctor scale said 298.2, which is considerably lighter than my last doctor's visit which penciled me down as 312.something. Of course that was a little over 2 years ago.

On the other hand, I've shrunk! I've been 5 5.5 for as long as I have been keeping track. The nurse measured me as 5 4.61. That almost an inch! I'm an inch shorter! ACK!

Okay, I'm calm now.

I just want to say that MyCare on gundluth.org is awesome. I've always wanted to be able to see everything that they write about on those dang sheets, and now I can. Yay interwebs!

My BMI is 50.21, which means I'm morbidly obese, but we already knew that. That's why I'm writing this bloggy-blog.

I did get some exercise yesterday. I went for a walk with Dan. We didn't go very far, but we got an extra workout by shivering the entire time! It was very windy and we turned around after 3 blocks. Then we talked.

And suddenly this blog is about Dan. If you don't know Dan, then we have a lot to talk about. Short story is that he is a really good friend. I'm gonna keep it at that.

Anyways, after we walked, we had a nice long talk about movies, games, life, and pistol shooting. One thing we've been talking about it finding a gym. Now you may be thinking to yourself, "hmm... what kind of guy would ask a girl to join a gym with him?" Well... I don't know, but I understand where he is coming from. I know how hard it is to motivate yourself when you are by yourself. If you have someone working with you, it's easier. So I maybe be joining a gym sometime in the future.

Semi-off-topic: Dan told me that he thought I was looking thinner last night. That made me feel really good, especially since I was wearing a puffy vest at the time.

And back to topic...

I'm halfway through tomorrow and I need to get my 30 minutes in, so I will end this now.

Chat with you tomorrow,
Erin

Days 5-14

Okay... Okay... Okay...

So I stopped writing. I really am bad at this.

Anyways... I wanted to update so I can start off again on a better foot.

I am not restarting the calendar, just the methods.

I did want to mention that my weekly weigh-ins are going well. Last Friday I was 298.5 and this morning I am 295.0. YAY!!

I have a doctor's appointment today, so I will get a more accurate "doctor scale" reading for my post tonight, so wait for that.

Anyways... I use that word a lot.

Anyways... I've got to finish getting ready for my appt, so I will chat at you laters.

Day 4

{singing} Pan the room. Random use of candles, empty bottles, and cloth, and can you see me through this fan?

Sorry, just singing along to the literal music videos.

I actually found time to exercise today. I did 40 minutes on my bike. Well... it was a bit over 30. I had set the timer for 30 and then kept going for a bit.

I didn't eat much today. I've been thinking about what exactly I've eaten today. I had a quesadilla for lunch... and I think that's it. I had some pizza when I got home from work, but that was already day 5, so I'll talk about that tomorrow... today... later...

I'm confused...

Anyways, I rather enjoyed my lazy day today. Tomorrow will not be as lazy.

I'm a little scatterbrained right now. Hopefully I won't be as so tomorrow.

Day 3

So it was a slower day today. I got to sleep in, which was nice. You seldom realize how tired you are until for finally get a good night's sleep. It was good.

I worked today. Which is normal, but I feel like I don't stop working. I'm always flipping working, and I feel like I've got nothing to show for it.

But that is a topic for a different blog.

Today was a blargh day. I say this, because that's how I've felt all day. Just blargh. It could be the whole Erin's almost normal with her cycle that decided to start New Years. At least it'll be easy to tell how long I've gone when I've had one go on too long.

I apologise if that last bit made sense to no one. I don't want to get into details of my personal "business."

Anyway... I didn't get an extra 15 minutes today. Instead I hung out with my friend Dan and watched G.I.Joe. I like that movie. Then we talked for a good 2 hours. Sometimes I don't get him. Does anyone out there speak guy and would be willing to translate him for me? I'm so confused because I see all this signs of him liking me more than a friend, but he doesn't say or do anything that would cooborate the subtext. I'm so confused.

But I digress... I don't have to work tomorrow until 6pm, so I'm planning on some major stuff tomorrow. But you'll have to wait until then because it's a surprise.

Days 1 & 2

I started the new year at 299.5. So I'm proud to say I'm starting the new year under 300 pounds. I just have to keep it that way.

January 1 - I woke up, like you do, and got ready for work. I believe I ate a pop tart with some milk, so I didn't die the rest of the day. I was working a double (usher then box) so it was going to be a very long day. And it was. But it was okay. We ended up ordering Chinese, and it was awesome.

January 2 - Worked in the freezing cold at the Lob. Seriously I'm sure I'm froze a bit. Then I worked at the theater ushering. I kinda went crazy.

So today I will be only working til 8 at the theater. I'm rather excited to not be working a double. I have been wiped out. Absolutely wiped out.

Day 3 will come later today. I just really needed to update this, cause I said I would. The future days will be more complete, so stay tuned for that.

Thanks for reading,
Erin
